Why Does a 3D Printed Miniature Cost $20?

I get this question a lot! And I get it sometimes you can probably find the actual toy for even less than $20 so the same price for a miniature seems like a lot.

That comparison however, is not apples to apples.  Here's a little glimpse to the process of making a miniature:

🔹 Design Time – Each mini is custom-designed, sized, and prepped for printing. This can take hours to days of creative work.
🔹 Print Time – Each part/piece is individually printed, often taking several hours per mini.
🔹 Material Costs – Quality filament isn’t cheap — especially for the detail and durability collectors expect.
🔹 Finishing & Cleaning – Every print needs careful support removal, sanding, and sometimes gluing — all by hand.
🔹 Small Batch = Higher Cost – I'm not a factory. I'm a small business creating small runs for collectors like you.🥰

So when you buy a $20 mini, you’re supporting art, creativity, and a maker who loves Fisher Price as much as you do! 😘  Hope this gives a bit of insight
